Client Service Professional

Description:
Koocanusa Publications Incorporated (KPI) Media is looking for an energetic individual who is an excellent communicator and strong team player. This Client Service Professional position involves working directly with a client base of small and large business owners, agents, and marketing managers who are located throughout the East and West Kootenay region—helping them maximize their print and Internet advertising, marketing, and promotion.
KPI Media offers:
Starting base salary and a commission incentive program
An excellent training program
Profit sharing and a benefits package
Weekday hours—Monday to Friday
Opportunity to earn $30K to $50K+ annually
The successful candidate must possess the following criteria:
Be comfortable communicating: electronically (computer literacy is a must), in person, and by phone
Have a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed
Bring a positive attitude
Be well organized and detail-oriented
Adaptable to on-going challenges
Preference will be given to those who have had:
Previous sales experience
Previous experience in advertising and marketing

We also publish business to business magazines that focus on a specific industry including: Kootenay Business, Mining & Exploration and ForestsWest.
All of these magazines feature a full colour format which are printed and distributed in the highest quality manner. We invest much time and effort to ensure that our magazines reach a very targeted distribution.
Directory division
Koocanusa Publications is one of the largest independently owned publishers of independent phone books in Western Canada. We publish the BetterBook PhoneBook for the East Kootenay, West Kootenay/Boundary and Lethbridge, Alberta, markets.
The BetterBook PhoneBooks are a convenient, compact size featuring large easy-to-read print, postal codes, helpful community pages, menu pages, health pages, white knockout display ads and affordable advertising rates.
The BetterBook features a complete up-to-date white pages and yellow section with all listings purchased directly from Telus Directory Information Services. We also offer residents and businesses a convenient and creative alternative to the traditional phone company phone book. Over 2,000 businesses participate as active advertisers in our three BetterBooks.
